My physical therapist was Adam Gershowitz. There are not enough superlatives to describe him as a PT. He genuinely cares about us. I was referred because of back surgery, however, in January 2008, I had a total hip replacement. The exercises and manipulations not only have strengthened my back, but have also helped with the discomfort I was still experiencing after hip surgery. He was able to pinpoint why there has been this problem and has been able to relieve a lot of the discomfort. His knowledge of the muscle, nerve, and bone relationship is incredible. If you are fortunate enough to find a person who allows you to perform things you were unable to do because of pain and discomfort, you are so very grateful. Adam has been a miracle worker.

Having seen me at the request of Dr. Jerod Share, your answer to his questions of where do we go from here regarding back issues with an osteoporosis diagnosis included several sessions with Danny. Not only did Danny teach me exercises which results in considerable pain relief, down from a 6+ to a 2 or 1, but also he is helping me learn more about body mechanics, thus insuring that I can keep moving for as long as I want to do the work. It has been a life-improving experience. Thank you.

Point Performance is a very patient-centered practice. I have been treated there by Dr. Suros, Dr. Klaiman and Michal Tekle. All three are excellent practitioners of their various disciplines. Point Performance focuses on pain management and only has practitioners who work in this area alone. That makes for a much more focused delivery of the care they specialize in.

I have been very happy with Point Performance and the service you have provided. Michal Tekle has done a terrific job. Her exceptional knowledge and skills have resolved a problem for me that I thought was probably unfixable. I've enjoyed working with Israel and Emily, both of whom have been unfailingly courteous and respectful, while maintaining a healthy sense of humor. The entire front office staff has been a pleasure to get to know, and we've had a lot of fun in the process. Your whole company works as a well-coordinated team, always volunteering to help each other out and making life easy for your patients. I'm extremely impressed with your office environment, friendly, comfortable and professional in everything you do. Thank you.

I wanted to thank Dr. Klaiman so much for the patience and support you and your staff gave me during 2016, before and after my surgery. I am happy to report that I am completely back to normal (if not better) the past few months without any medication. I am able to exercise 5 days a week doing yoga, Barre, and gym exercises. It is the best feeling, and I am often flushed with gratitude to be able to move freely without pain. The hiking trip to the French Alps is back on for August, as well as starting my doctorate degree at Hopkins in May. You were an exceptional physician both in knowledge and compassion, and I will always recommend you highly.

I came to Point Performance with a torn rotator cuff which caused a lot of pain and made it almost impossible to use my arm to do almost anything, especially to cook, which is my passion. I worked with Allison and her assistants who very patiently and pleasantly helped me recover the full use of my arm. In the past two weeks, I baked a batch of cookies and had two dinner parties, which I had not been able to do for several months.

I was recently referred to Julie Shein by my internist for treatment of BVVP. She is not only extremely capable but her approach to her patients and patient/therapist relationship seems outstanding. Her listening skills and knowledge of her craft and treatment also appear superior to others I have encountered. Having been unsuccessfully seen before by other vestibular therapists, I wish to congratulate you and your faculty for having her on your staff. I was so impressed by her that I asked for the name of her supervisor in order to send in my comments!

Dr. Klaiman referred me to Dr. Sara Squires-Davis for a painful combination of degenerative disc disease and temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMJD). I had a cervical spine fusion five years earlier. Sara's knowledge and treatment of TMJD far surpassed that of any dentist I've seen in twenty years! She corrected the misalignment of my jaw and only being able to chew on the right side to no longer clenching, and finally being able to chew on both side of my mouth! I have a new appreciation for the complex inter-relationship of nerves, muscles, and joint because of Sara's expert work of releasing all of the structure from my cervical spine to my fingers. During each session, Sara explained the intricacies of posture, the necessity of performing daily stretches, and ways to make my daily routines more ergonomic. Her reassurance, patience, and sense of humor were also welcome. My pain and stiffness steadily improved, along with my confidence in managing a chronic condition and enhancing my well-being Sara's whole-person, education approach equipped me with a regimen of stretches and exercises to supplement my regular exercise routine. I credit Sara's physical therapy expertise with healing a serious problem, and fortifying me to maintain my improvement for several months now. I appreciate, trust, and recommend the physical medicine and rehabilitation team approach at which Point Performance excels!

Dear Dr. Klaiman: As you may recall, I came to see you in January for back stiffness, which you felt was related to hamstring/glute tightness. At your suggestion I went for physical therapy with Erin. The purpose of this email is to let you know that Erin did an amazing job and I am about 90% better at this point. Erin is a very insightful therapist. She was able to pinpoint the cause of my issues and prescribe stretching and strengthening exercises to address them. She then demonstrated how the exercises translated into everyday activities such as standing from a chair, bending, etc. Additionally, Erin has a very upbeat, positive attitude that contributes to her success as a therapist. I truly hope I never need to return to Point Performance, but it's great to know that, if I do, I will be well cared for and will recover quickly from whatever issue I may have.

I came to Point Performance experiencing pain and difficulty even walking. Joanna took me in as a patient. First of all, she explained what my major problems were: overuse of certain leg muscles and lack of use in others. With exercise and physical treatment, Joanna went on to reeducate and strengthen my under-performing muscles as well as teaching me how to maintain my posture and movements. I feel very thankful that I can move around with no pain and that I have learned how the muscles in my body work, which will allow me to address physical weaknesses in the future. Joanna was an excellent therapist who gave me clear explanations, encouragement to continue with the exercises and very good instructions on the home work. I will highly recommend her to any of my friends or acquaintances in need of therapy.
